What makes TL Private Wealth different from other advisors or financial planners?

We are a relationship-focused firm. Our ability to help our clients build and protect wealth is dependent on our understanding of their unique goals and needs. While some advisors may be interested in selling you investments or insurance, we are interested in a relationship that allows us to help you reach your financial goals.

What is a fiduciary standard?

Unlike the "suitability standard", a fiduciary must act in your best interest at all times. In fact, a fiduciary has a legal obligation to put your interests ahead of their own. To us, it is just the right way to conduct business and it is the cornerstone of every one of our client relationships.

How do you approach investments?

Our investment philosophy is driven by the unique needs of the families and individuals we work with. We use a range of diverse investment vehicles including individual bond portfolios, mutual funds, ETFs and third-party managers each with various investment strategies, as dictated by the personalized plans we create. TL Private Wealth is not obligated to recommend any investment company or product and does not offer proprietary investments. We utilize investments from many providers based on what is most appropriate for our clients.

What are your fees?

Our fees differ based on the type of investment strategy, the unique situation of the client relationship and other factors. For this reason, fees are determined and discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Where are my assets held?

We do not hold client assets. They are held with our custodian Fidelity Custody and Clearing, Inc.

Fidelity Custody and Clearing, Inc. (“Fidelity”) is the firm that we use to custody our client assets. Fidelity and TL Private Wealth are separate and unaffiliated firms, and are not responsible for each other’s services or policies. Fidelity does not endorse or recommend any advisor and the use of any Fidelity logo does not represent the endorsement or recommendation of any advisor.
